Barry DeGroot's journey with music began at the tender age of 6 when he first sat down at a piano. From that moment, music became more than a hobby—it became his lifelong passion. Gifted with an exceptional ear for music, Barry quickly learned to play by ear, unlocking the vast potential of the piano.

At just 9 years old, Barry stunned audiences by performing Beethoven's timeless masterpiece, "Moonlight Sonata," at a recital. What made this feat remarkable was that he learned the piece entirely by ear, drawn to its haunting melodies through a record. This early demonstration of his musical talent foreshadowed a future filled with creativity and innovation.

Over the years, Barry's love for music only grew stronger. He dedicated himself to honing his craft, exploring diverse musical genres and styles. In addition to performing in various bands, and providing collaboration and session services to other musicians, he began to compose his own pieces, drawing inspiration from the experiences and emotions that shaped his life. Now, after a journey spanning over 25 years, Barry is preparing to unveil a collection of his original piano compositions to the world. Each piece is a testament to his depth as a musician and his ability to translate raw emotion into captivating melodies.
